Award-winning book-designer

Hello, I’m Sara, and I am a creator at heart! During my career as a graphic designer I have fallen in love with designing and typesetting books.

I originally started my career designing magazines and have for the past 8 years worked within the publishing industry as a book- and packaging designer.

I specialise in bringing titles together from the inside out — from cover design and typography to detailed typesetting, layout and packaging. I’ve worked across a wide range of formats, including books, journals, card decks and gift products, and I particularly enjoy the process of finding the right balance between beautiful design and a practical, enjoyable reading experience.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with authors, editors, publishers and illustrators, helping shape projects from early concepts through to finished products. My work has been recognised with PubWest Book Design Awards multiple years between 2020-2025, but what I enjoy most is seeing a project come together and knowing the design feels right for the content, audience and overall idea.

I’ve also been fortunate to be published as both an author and illustrator for multiple journals and oracle decks.

When I’m not working on books, I’m usually dancing, travelling or working on new project ideas and illustration.
