Hello, I am Sara Lindberg and I am honored to introduce myself as an award-winning book designer. I have a passion for bringing words to life through visually stunning and engaging designs. With over a decade of experience in the publishing industry, I have had the privilege of working with various publishing houses and authors, delivering exceptional design solutions that have garnered critical acclaim.

My journey into book design began with my love for typography and layout, which led me to pursue a degree in graphic design. Early on in my career, I quickly discovered my niche in book design, where I could blend my artistic flair with my love for books. Since then, I have worked on an extensive range of books, delivering designs that capture the essence of the author’s voice and the book’s genre.

My work has been recognized by the prestigious PubWest Book Design Award both in 2021 and 2022. However, my greatest satisfaction comes from the positive feedback I receive from clients, who appreciate my attention to detail and ability to create designs that exceed their expectations.

As a book designer, my approach is to understand the author’s vision and the book’s message, which informs the design process. Whether it’s creating custom illustrations, selecting fonts, or designing layouts, I believe in the power of collaboration and communication to deliver designs that capture the essence of the book.

In addition to my design work, I am also an avid reader and enjoy staying up to date with the latest design trends and techniques. When I am not designing, you can find me curled up with a good book or traveling the world, seeking inspiration for my next project.

I am currently based in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Sweden, I honed my craft as an Art Director for five years following my graduation from university, where I earned a Bachelor of Graphic Design and Media Communication. My professional journey eventually led me to Australia, where I completed a diploma in Digital Design at JMC Academy in Sydney.
