Mountain Devil | Lambertia FormosaMountain Devil | Lambertia Formosa
Despite its somewhat frightening name it got from its hornlike follicles, this tiny red flower is pretty harmless. In fact its’ nectar has been used as -nourishment by Aborigines and explorers in substitute of water. Commonly, and more -rightful, this New South Wales endemic beauty is called “honey flower”.
