Natural History Book Design, Layout

This is a really content heave book with lots of images and a description for each image as well as chapter openers and header description for each species. It came with a very specific brief for the images to be large and for the descriptions to sit next to the image it referred to. Despite the quite strict layout, I added a few simple design elements to make it a little bit more fun and colourful without taking the focus of the amazing photographs. It is a paperback cover with flaps and spot UV, printed in 4C.
